This layout is based on the Woodhead Line running between Manchester and Sheffield and represents the line as running from 1954 onwards. Steam is still in use through the Eastern Portal but many services are being handled by the EM1 and EM2 overhead electrics. Some of these locos ended their days in Holland after the Woodhead Line closed.
This layout has now been extended to 19' long. New images will be added as soon as they are available.
